PROGRAM START DATES
: FLEXIBLE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR
Yearoutindia
Programs fees and costs are still amongst the most reasonable
/ lowest rates available compared to other multinational volunteering
organisations. Yearoutindia has strived to keep costs as low
as possible for our volunteers so as to ensure maximum financial
contribution to the actual programs directly at the grass
root level.
We are a volunteer run volunteering
organisation and volunteer fees directly fund all our projects,
volunteers and the organisation. Any changes in the value
of the Indian rupee directly affects the amount of funds available
for our project sites.
Our admin costs are very low and all our coordinators around
the world are ex-volunteers who volunteer their time and services
to run this organisation for free. All additional resources
are shared directly with the host organisations and YOI projects
through the active consent and participation of the volunteers
themselves. Please read the FAQ for
details of our program fee/cost breakdown.
The recent fluctuation in the currency values have forced
us to make changes to the fees, please contact your coordiantor
for exact project fees. We will use the value of Indian Rupees
against the Pound, Dollar and Euro to make adjustments to
the program fees. |

The
Indian rupee has dropped by about 15-20% in the last 12
months against GBP and this combined with a 8-10% rise
of inflation rates in India have forced us to adjust our
fees. We have endeavoured to keep them as low as possible
and they are still much lower than other programs. Once
the value stabilises, we will adjust back accordingly.
