HOW TO APPLY

Yearoutindia welcomes individuals and groups of all ages and backgrounds. You select the site and program dates during which you want to volunteer. More than ninety percent of all applicants are accepted. You may fill out our online application form now, or download the application form and mail it in, or fax your application.

Many teams fill early, so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible. Early enrollment allows you extra time for visa processing and also allows you to make your travel arrangements earlier and perhaps more affordably.

The following are a few things you need to consider before applying. Take your time in choosing the right program, choosing the right duration, arranging adequate funds, have adequate insurance, take necessary medical clearance from you local GP and plan your travel in advance. Yearoutindia volunteer coordinator will provide you with advice and help during this process.

Before applying we ask that you carefully read our Volunteer Information Booklet. If you have any questions regarding any programs, please call 07092 233122(UK) or Email or chat to our online volunteer coordinator. They will be able to provide you with additional information about each program and help you determine where you might be of most assistance. Volunteer coordinators may also give you names and phone numbers of other volunteers as references to the sites in which you are most interested. We can also be reached by e-mail.

To hold a space on a team, a £125 deposit is required with your application. The balance is due 4 Weeks before your program is scheduled to start. We appreciate your payment by DD or bank transfer which avoids the high commission cost charged by credit card companies. Fill out our online form now, or download our application form Word File (.Doc format), Adobe Acrobat reader(.PDF format) and mail it in or fax your application and make your travel arrangements as soon as your place on the Yearoutindia program is confirmed.
